The Leland Group of Cincinnati has been building excellence for nearly 15 years, created by the hard work and dedication of John Ballantyne. John has spent 20 years of his life designing a portfolio of custom builds ranging in various styles, including French Country, Arts & Crafts, Modern, and Traditional homes. John’s inspiration is always fresh for each project, leaving each homeowner with a truly custom home. The Leland Group began in 2004 with a commitment to build every home as if it were their own. John’s wife, Lynn, works for their company full time making it a mission to provide honesty and respect while thoroughly meeting each client’s expectations.

John set standards high when developing his team of craftsmen and suppliers, ensuring each person shared the desire as much as he did. His efforts in creating a strong team are shown through the long-lasting details in each home, using only the finest products with care. John is extremely active in the homebuilding community, serving as the President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Cincinnati in 2013, and is still a loyal member today. He is also involved in a national organization known as Pacesetters, a Builder 20 group of the National Association of Home Builders. Members of this group consist of the premiere builders in the country, who then have the opportunity to be interviewed and chosen by the group from non-competing markets. During their biannual meetings, the group discusses expertise in the building industry, advice on financial decisions, and goals to raise the standards of home building.
As John continues to immerse himself in the home-building community, he is continuously learning the newest trends in every aspect that comes with building custom homes.
